Oh IRS

Well, Kyle and I have procrastinated our taxes until now.  I finished mine today, well they are ready to be turned in, but not after a little hassle.  I filed via H&R Block online, and at the end, I came to a  page saying I may have some penalty pending on my tax return.   I called the IRS to find out more information about said penalty.  I spent over an hour on the phone with the IRS and spoke with 7, yes 7 different employees.  I finally found out that the penalty didn't apply to me because I didn't make enough money last year.  The 7th person was the only one who knew anything about the penalty, and only after about 5 minutes of me talking to her did she realize that it didn't apply to me.  UGH.  Taxes are normally so easy for me to file online.  But today was so annoying.  Oh well, hopefully Kyle will not have any trouble figuring out his.  I am not a tax doer.  No thank you to accounting. :)

  1. Just letting you know that we dislike H&R block with a passion after 3 months they told us that we owed the IRS some money(a lot actually) becuse their online systum Online system miss calculated a deduction that didn’t apply to us and they said that it was all our responsibly to pay the IRS for THEIR mistake, all they gave us was a refund for the online service $9.99 and any interest and penalties from the IRS but only for the first 6 months ($10.60). However we never cashed those check because we tried to fight them on the matter and after 6 months and lots of man hours by Isaiah we gave up and paid the IRS and vowed to never use or promote them. Just letting you know how we feel about H&R block.
